Hi, I'm Sarah!

My husband and I had our first baby in February 2013, and I need help losing weight before we think about the next one! In fact, I have been overweight or obese for the past 15 years (half of my life...) It's time to change.

My 30th birthday was April 6th, 2014. I have promised to focus my entire 30th year on eating well and exercising. I am starting my 30s the healthy way! Let's do this!

SARAHTHEKNITTER after telling myself earlier that I couldn't possibly get 10,000 steps today, I have clocked over 12,000! Woohoo!

My Goals:
* lose 100+ lbs! I haven't been below 165 since high school!
* ultimate goal = losing weight from a high of 252 down to the 120s before we start trying for baby #2 (losing about half of my starting body weight!)

My Program:
6 small meals a day (breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and an evening snack!)

* drink lots of water
* eat slooooowly
* write down EVERYTHING I eat (and blog about it in here!)

When I'm not chasing after my busy little boy, I love to knit (I used to work in a knitting shop before it closed), crochet, cook, bake, read, garden, play the piano, watch nerdy TV shows/movies (I own Star Trek TNG in its entirety), and I love video games (I play Wii, Xbox 360, SNES, and my Nintendo DS!)
