Time to get healthy and lose weight!

I want to get to a healthy weight by the end of this year. My plan is to lose 40 pounds by Dec 23rd! In the bigger picture, I hope to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle by continuing to exercise and tone muscle once the weight is off.The greatest achievement I can think of is to be the active and fit individual I crave to be...Climb a mountain, backpack and hike through rough, beautiful terrain, run a 10k, etc...
