26.2 Sassy project! Diamond Strong!

What a difference two years makes, thanks to Sparkpeople.

This girl is on a new mission to complete her first full marathon this fall in Richmond Va. Just two years ago I was telling everyone, how I did not want to be fat and 50! Since than I have lost 120 pounds!

This girl is on a new mission to complete her first full marathon this fall in Richmond Va. Just two years ago I was telling everyone, how I did not want to be fat and 50! Since than I have lost 120 pounds!

I started running 2 years ago, when I started, I truly can say I did not think I would ever accomplish running down the block. I could hardly even run a minute without thinking I would pass out! I kept plugging away, and 6 months later I successfully completed my first 5 k.

I never looked back I went on to do several more 5ks, 10ks, a half marathon. The future includes another half next weekend several more 5 ks are already booked. Even more exciting was the Asheville Marathon wrote an article about me, being a bubbly person on the local running scene!

The BIG one 26.2 a full marathon is signed up for and on the books for November 15, 2014! Let the 26.2/Sassy project begin! I am so excited, So stay tuned as the 26.2/Sassy project evolves! Hoping to lose those last 20 pounds during this training!

My Goals:
As of March 2014,working on those last 20 pounds! Starting the 26.2/Sassy project, First full marathon in November 2014!

My Program:
I will continue to follow my spark recommended plan which is 1200 - 1500 calories per day!

Working with Killian (Jillian Michaels) She ROCKS!
Running 3-5 times a week with long runs on Sunday!

Personal Information:
My name is Lori, I live in Western North Carolina. I have a supportive husband and wonderful teen son! I have a great running community/training partners. It is a whole new world when you shake off the weight!

Other Information:
My immediate family all live within 2 hours of us. Family and Friends are important to me. I believe people come into you life for a reason! I consider myself a SPARK Junkie. Who knew I would love working out?!

I wanted to say hello, my name is Lori too and I'm with the Grey Wolves team... I was browsing through the team lists and seen your name AND you're a runner. What an inspiration. I started last year and did my first 5k last October, I did not meet my goal of running it all but am eager to do another this spring to meet my goal.

Wow ... you are a runner and have lost 120 pounds. I have dumped 50 pounds and I am working on the next 75ish.
