Complacency is dangerous!

I've been way too complacent since I reached Onederland. I did so well for the first 60 lbs of my weight loss and then I just got comfortable. I was elated to be in the 100's, no longer shopping in specialty clothing stores for larger sizes and I weighed less than my DH for the first time in year. I still have some work to do, but I was complacent with where I was. It's time to stop settling.

Hope you have a geeat week!

I have no idea what my time was. It was chip timed, but I sort of figured ... the heck with time. There was a bunch of friends that were also running ... and oh oh oh my! It was just freakin awesome to be around friends yesterday.

After a bunch of us finished we waited for a couple of people that we knew who were doing the 10K event ... and we went back a bit on the course and ran with them.

It. Was. AWESOME.

3 of us (not me) placed in age groups.

Best of all? Later we all took part in the pancake feed. (The run benefited the local fire station.)

I have found that yes, running and other stuffs is good for physical health. But the friends being made are soooo good for the soul.

One day I will get down there and you and I will totally have to run a 5K!

"Beer contains alcohol which has a number of health risks ..."

To which I reply ~
