Starting Again

It is not how many times we fail, it is how many times we get up.

The journey of 10,000 miles begans with a single step.

I can log breakfast at least......fast break goal!

My page used to say looking fine in 2009....it is now 2012....uh...yeah....starting again. Completely new. Health and life have gotten together to kick my rear and make me pay attention. I can be at my goal weight by losing one pound a week for the next 38 weeks.

Yes it is ...

Yes it is hard to lose weight - but I would rather work on maintaining my weight as opposed to losing it. Make sense? It does to me.

Hey there - Glad you liked my comment. That's the beauty of this place - you never know when you'll find just the idea you were really needing. I've been following Steph-knee for a long time and I felt so sad that she was dreading the holidays. Then - when I thought how I wanted to walk through these festive food laden days that's what I decided to do, too. Fake it till I make it!

hugs on a Friday

Well, I'm sorry you are having sugar cravings too, but it's also reassuring to me that this isn't just some wacko craving coming to me out of nowhere.

I've been reading a bit about sugar cravings and the most stringent advice from people (not involved with the alcohol factor) is to cut out all sugar including fresh fruit and carbs. I'm not going to do that but use fruit to curb my cravings as you suggested.

Baby steps, baby steps.

Good luck to you too.

thanks for your support on my blog. You are right I am a social being. When I am alone I seek out interactions. I don't have alot of friends in real life to call upon. My hubby gets home tonight. I need to get more active, create to do lists like helene, I love to cross things off. I could create a cleaning list, my house is so dusty and cluttered, it is overwhelming to me. I need to scrub my bathroom floor but just can't make myself do this.
I am in instant gratification mode.
