For the first half of my life, I was slim and athletic. I was no super model, but I was strong, healthy, confident, and content with my body. As I got older and busier, I became more sedentary; and I gained weight which I successfully lost in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, massive stress, insane eating habits, and a thyroid condition resulted in a regain of the weight. The addition of a fractured foot that curtailed exercise for months set me over the edge to my heaviest weight in 2012. My goal is simple. To be able to look in the mirror and recognize the person looking back at me. I don't need to look 20 years old, but I want my old identity back - the slim athlete. Today is the day that I take back my identity. March 17, 2013 - I wrote the text above on Dec. 9/12. Since then, I have lost 30 lbs. 20 more to go. I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

My Program:
Focussing on calorie count and increasing protein. A minimum of 45 minutes Cardio every day (have to do that to keep the dogs walked), 10 minutes of toning every other day.
