Super Shrinking Summer!

I am a recovering sugar addict. I struggle daily with sugar. Even when I was a super thin teenager, I still struggled with sugar. I also have only just begun to appreciate exercise! I'm trying to get to a point to where I look forward to exercising and not dread it!

Exercise wise, last week I did great! I did 12.75 miles for the week. Still not doing any strength training. I have got to get on that soon! Up until the weekend, I even did great with my food choices. It's the dang weekend that gets me every time! My son (who is a freshman in college) came home for the weekend, and I was awful! I thought I was going to OD on carbs! So far this week, I'm doing pretty good. I have walked/jogged every day this week so far. I'm eating lot's of green things. (yay!) I just need to keep up the momentum through the weekend! Yes, I agree, let's kick it into gear and have a fantastic week! emoticon

Hey there, just checking in! I had a slow week, I completed two of three interval training days and only one of two strength training days. I did better with the fruits challenge I set for myself, I ate four servings of fruit vs one and a half from last week. I managed to limit my snacking between meals, and if I did snack it was on a pear, or on Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies (oops). So all in all it was a poor performance week, but I'm determined to get back in the saddle (so to speak) this week!

I saw that your status was that you are disappointed in your choices this week, I'm hoping we can both turn it around and kick it into gear and make it better this week!!!!
