Baby Steps

I found SP while looking for a nutrition calculator. I'd lost 25 pounds without much of an idea about what I was doing. I was amazed and grateful to discover that Sparkpeople is so much more than a calorie tracker.

I know from experience that making small, consistent positive changes snowballs into an avalanche of change. I didn't know that I would need to pay attention to every day if I wanted to hang on to the benefits of those changes. I didn't know that nothing is or can be ...

Personal Information:
I'm from Seattle Washington and I LOVE to hike. Love, love, love to hike!

Other Information:
I have juvenile diabetes which puts an extra wrinkle into exercise, like checking blood sugar in the middle of a long run and carrying juice and a glucometer everywhere. Oh yes, an occasionally crashing.

I'm midway through nursing school where I am probably the oldest nursing student ever.

I found that connecting with other on Garmin is easier being done on the computer. I had problems trying to do this with my phone app.
