Never Giving Up!

1/18/14....After being here since August 2011, I've lost 67# and then lost my motivation the end of 2012 and went around and around the same numbers all of 2013! I'm sick of it! So I feel that I'm starting all over in a way and will shake myself up a bit and try all the harder with my diet because I can only exercise so much with having Rheumatoid Arthritis. I can feel myself getting some motivation back and feel like I can get rolling with this momentum I'm gathering for the road ahead. I ...

I can feel myself getting some motivation back and feel like I can get rolling with this momentum I'm gathering for the road ahead. I know, because I'm human, that there will be pot holes here and there that will set me back, but I'll be up and going again full-speed ahead! All of 2013, I kept coming on SP every day and tracked everything, the good and the bad. That's right, I did and I'll never give up! I'm awfully slow at this but I'm still doing it and I will get there one day! Oh ya!

My Program:
I'm making more healthy choices with food, paying more attention to exercise. I try to keep my goal in view every day.

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Seattle, WA and have lived in the Midwest for around 30 years now, married to my best friend. We own and operate our dairy farm. My husband and I have two grown children. Our daughter's married and our son farms with us full-time. We also have our beloved English Springer Spaniel named Hope! We love her undying love for us every day! We raise corn, soybeans, barley, alfalfa and wheat too sometimes. I love the distinct 4 seasons in the MIdwest, but not always the extreme temp. of heat and humidity in the summer and the cold winds along with snow in the winter. But we know that the things we don't care for as much, find us enduring and then that builds character! I love gardening, baking, collecting, shopping, sewing, music, singing, piano, painting, decorating, embroidery. I hope to become more and more healthy that I can enjoy all of these things more.

Ask yourself if what you're doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.

Yep, my Doc is an Opthamologist, too, have to go to a specialist since I've type 1 Diabetes since 1975. But he knows what he's doing, and I was so relieved to hear the great news. I've always known that my eyes (as with my Mom's and sister's eyes) always looked like they could have it, but never did, but I just happened to suddenly have the pressure go up. My mom never has, neither has my sister.

And you're right, we do what we must, and I'm just so happy it's nothing to do with my Diabetes, YAY! Least I'm still alive and can see, perfectly, in every other way. :D Have a wonderful day! emoticon

I rarely buy new shoes (just not a shoe person, I guess *L* the buy one, get another for 1/2 price was great *L*) so I don't go through this much! And I normally get the cheap ones to save money and they always feel good. I guess this is why, the expensive ones HURT! *LOL* That's funny, what your husband said!

Thank you, from my daughter, that was sweet, it's possible. I hope it doesn't get worse for the two of you. *hugs to you back*

Keep smiling, it is always the smile in someone's darkness and ahve a beautiful day! emoticon
