Never Giving Up!

1/18/14....After being here since August 2011, I've lost 67# and then lost my motivation the end of 2012 and went around and around the same numbers all of 2013! I'm sick of it! So I feel that I'm starting all over in a way and will shake myself up a bit and try all the harder with my diet because I can only exercise so much with having Rheumatoid Arthritis. I can feel myself getting some motivation back and feel like I can get rolling with this momentum I'm gathering for the road ahead. I ...

I know, because I'm human, that there will be pot holes here and there that will set me back, but I'll be up and going again full-speed ahead! All of 2013, I kept coming on SP every day and tracked everything, the good and the bad. That's right, I did and I'll never give up! I'm awfully slow at this but I'm still doing it and I will get there one day! Oh ya!

My Program:
I'm making more healthy choices with food, paying more attention to exercise. I try to keep my goal in view every day.

Personal Information:
I'm originally from Seattle, WA and have lived in the Midwest for around 30 years now, married to my best friend. We own and operate our dairy farm. My husband and I have two grown children. Our daughter's married and our son farms with us full-time. We also have our beloved English Springer Spaniel named Hope! We love her undying love for us every day! We raise corn, soybeans, barley, alfalfa and wheat too sometimes. I love the distinct 4 seasons in the MIdwest, but not always the extreme temp. of heat and humidity in the summer and the cold winds along with snow in the winter. But we know that the things we don't care for as much, find us enduring and then that builds character! I love gardening, baking, collecting, shopping, sewing, music, singing, piano, painting, decorating, embroidery. I hope to become more and more healthy that I can enjoy all of these things more.

Other Information:
Ask yourself if what you're doing today is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.

Thank you for the lovely compliment. When you're 75 the compliments seem to be few and far between. Happy Easter my Spark friend.

Hey Karen!
Thanks for stopping by my blog HUNGRY! It's always great to hear from you my farm girl friend. :) We are still fighting the good fight....together! That makes it much better!
I'll keep peeking in on you to see if the scales budge for you doing the low carb thing. I like MEAT too. Very definitely a carnivore. I haven't wanted to do something as meat heavy as ATKINS I know of some people it really worked for and they loved it.
My goal was to include more proteins, less carbs tho. Last time I lost signifigantly that was indeed an element of success. Bu I got lazy and tired and thrown of track so starting saying "who cares" and heading for the carby confort foods. Protein/less carbs makes my body less soft very quickly. Less squishy is always good. Lets do this thing, Karen. Onward to less squishy! LOL keep up your good work. I know eventually all things will fall into place for us, with each others help. THanks so much for your support.
Carol
