I will be 46 in June. I'm an editor, a writer, an aunt, a daughter, and a girlfriend. I've been living a vegetarian lifestyle since October 23, 2013. I quit smoking for seven years and then started again in the autumn of 2009. I quit again on September 18, 2013. I still haven't lost all the weight I gained when I originally quit all those years ago, I probably put on 100 pounds that time. I lost about 50 that I mostly kept off until the past year when a lot of emotional baggage came home to roost.
I believe in the Law of Attraction, the power of visualization, meditation and positive affirmations, and that emotional and mental issues surface physically in the body. I have been living with a new physical symptom since January 2015 that I have been visiting an osteopath to treat. I believe in natural medicine, and that the body can heal itself. I don't take medications if it can be avoided. I try to eat organic and non-GMO whenever possible.
My main goal is just to feel great physically, mentally, emotionally, on every level I just want to be fabulous.
Following a plant-based diet, edging my way up to 10,000 steps a day, strength exercising ... just being conscious of what I'm doing and why.
I'm from a very small rural community in NB, Canada. Family and good friends mean everything to me.
I love television, movies, books, music, art, the theatre, and most anything cultural. I enjoy wine entirely too much, particularly the reds and I'm a bit of a foodie.
