Change can be good.

I want to stay motivated and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that I can enjoy my retirement & travel with my DH. I've seen too many people retire and then just go downhill, energy and health-wise. This CAN be the best time of my life but it'll take work and commitment. I want to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

This Halloween there's something new.
A sweet surprise that's called a "Boo".
A friendly "goblin" left it here
To spread a little "ghostly" cheer.
It's not a fright; it's not a scare, it's just a secret smile to share.
To get you in the Halloween mood, you've officially now been "boo'd".
It's your turn, now you're the one to pass along some "spooky" fun,
To friends who'd love a special "treat",
And let them know you think they're sweet!
'Cause it's for sure this little gift will give their "spirits" quite a lift.
Enjoy this latest, greatest way to celebrate this "ghoulish" holiday.

Sometimes we all have those days where motivation is low, the scale lies, the work is too hard, the sun won't come out, you just don't want to bother, or it's easier just to eat the cake and not worry about it.

Yup, we all have them.

So when you do have them, here are some great, wise, words for you to ponder...

“The road to success is always under construction”
― Lily Tomlin

"Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, never follow someone else’s path unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path then by all means you should follow that."
― Ellen Degeneres

"People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily."
― Zig Ziglar

"I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade... And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party."
― Ron White

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go." – Dr. Seuss

I have found the Oklahoma City to be the best for people. Every time I need to change lanes, all I do is turn on my blinker and immediately there is a space to move into!! One of the worst is Minneapolis where I live. Many won't give you the time of day to change lanes! It has gotten better in the past couple yrs. but still bad! I was in Orlando many yrs. ago ad don't recall. Most our travels with the camper, we have found truckers to be the most courteous! Go figure!

Hi Dena!
Travel today was easy and all back roads. Chose not to go into the big cities where you add stress while driving especially pulling a camper. Cars are as rude to campers as they are to trucks! (lol) Temps today were 90 and it sounds like the week will be the same. Should be in the park by the weekend. Mom's BD is Sunday and she wonders if we will be there. Guess I will:-)

“Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering.”
― Steve Maraboli.

...."and eat your veggies." – My Mother.
