Hi. I have been here before so I know how everything works on Spark People. Please do not leave instructions on how the use Spark People in the comment section. Positive words of motivation are always welcome.

I am very happily married with three furry children of the K-9 variety. We moved to the Seattle area about a year and a half ago. I am college educated and I just graduated from cosmetology school. Along with my new career, I am aiming for a new, healthy lifestyle.

I am not only doing this for myself but also for my husband. His doctor recommended the South Beach Diet to get his triglycerides and cholesterol down. We successfully did this for about a year and saw big changes in his blood tests and the way our clothing fit. Unfortunately, when we put our house up for sale, we didn’t want to dirty the kitchen with a lot of cooking so we got almost completely off track. Now that we’ve settled, it is time to get back on track. I find that Spark People is an EXCELLENT tool for tracking and staying on track.

My Goals:
My goals are to loose 2 pounds per week, read success stories to help stay motivated, incorporate more veggies into my diet and cook healthier foods.

My Program:
I just jumped on the Weight Watchers train and I am feeling pretty good about it so far. I am completely cool with the whole Points Plus program. It is simple and straight forward.

While I have used the food and fitness trackers here in the past, since I am doing WW Online, I am only tracking there. It would just be too much otherwise. -No food tracking, no fitness tracking and no SparkPeople point tracking. I am here for the community and motivation.
