Slow and steady back to Me!

Welcome!

One goes through life and somewhere along the way loses oneself. Thats exactly what happened to me. I just lost myself, inside and ouside. I want to now get back that me. Sadly I've also lost my will power and it makes this journey all the more slow, but I want to keep at it until I accomplish my goals.

What I count on is all you lovely sparkies to help me along the way of what I know will be a long and difficult journey for me.

My Goals:
Be physically fit to do many activities I cant do now and build the will power and persistance I had before.

Be fit enough to take on journeys and get back to doing more adventerous things like trekking which I love.

Reduce my 20 Kgs of excess weight.


My Program:
I gym atleast 4 times a week beginning with strengthning my core.

Dance 2-3 times a week.

Intake more nutritious food.




Personal Information:
I am 40 and have been dealing with issues of back and knee pain for many years as well as excess weight.

Excellent job on your workout! :-) When I first started five years ago, I'd watch the contestants on Biggest Loser and think if those people can work out 8 hours, surely I can make it up this mountain! It was the hardest thing I'd ever done and I stopped and actually CRIED! LOL But I made it up that dang mountain and it became a regular activity. It's probably what gave me the courage to take up tennis. It's time for me to conquer a mountain again though.

Proud of you :-)

(BTW - that mountain story is buried in my blogs somewhere with pictures if you ever want to kill some time) :-D LOL
