AZCLAIRE:
I had an acute Vitamin D deficiency. This prevented absorption of Calcium. Taking extra Vit. D & calcium/magnesium along with the Fosamax seem to be the key elements.

Hi! I'm a new co-leader of the "Living with Osteoporosis" team, so I was looking at everyone's profile to familiarize myself. I notice your description says that you no longer have osteopenia.

Can you tell me why you think your condition improved? That doesn't happen very often!

What you have accomplished is amazing!! 11,00+ people joined the week you did, and nearly all have quit, but YOU are still working to have wonderful health and fitness, because you want to make this your BEST LIFE! emoticon As Eckhart Tolle says in "The Power of NOW" this is all we have and the time to make changes is always NOW.
