Welcome to my page! My name is Diane and I am a proud member of the Sunny Gals and the NW sparklers!
Contact me if you would like to join in one of my teams.
I once believed I could not lose weight or quit smoking or start exercising. But I found that if I had faith in myself and use the resources I have found on Sparks: I can! I quit smoking 5 years ago and lost over 60 pounds. I think if you look inside yourself you will be surprised to find you can do it too.

I want to thank Sparks, the Done Girls, the Sunny Gals and all of my Sparks Friends for helping me lose over 60 pounds! I know that the PUSH Season will be the best ever! Go Sunnies! Love YA!

The first rule of success, and one that supersedes all others, is to have energy.

It's important to know how to concentrate it. Focus your energy on important matters instead of frittering it away on meaningless things.

Nothing will add more power to your life then concentrating all your energies on a limited set of goals.

You must focus the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve if you truly want to be successful.

Gather in your resources, rally all your faculties, marshal all your energies, focus all your capacities upon attaining your objectives.
You must be single minded, and drive for the things you have decided upon.
The sun's rays do not burn until brought to a focus.

No regrets. As we become more aware, we begin to realize that there�s a purpose to everything that happens. This builds our trust, and supports us in being willing to be more open and daring to really experience life as it unfolds.

If we pay attention to what�s happening in each moment, we will discover that life continually brings us opportunities to heal our past wounds. When a painful memory surfaces, we can take the time to feel it fully, give compassion to ourselves and any others and allow the energy to release. As we deal with the past in this way IN THE PRESENT, we free ourselves to more fully connect with life.

Personal Information:
Married over 29 years and have one daughter who is attending college. I love to read and workout in the pool.
I have been overweight since my mid 20s and when I quit smoking on 10/27/2007 I packed on more pounds.
I hope to lose my weight so I can enjoy a cruise to Alaska in 2014 or 2015

Other Information:
Love to read, favorite authors are Nora Roberts , Laurel K Hamilton and Charlene Harris! Love animals, especially cats. Love being a Done Being the Fat Girl! And the Sunny Gals Challenge team, just ask if you want to be part of it!

    If you're looking for a challenge and ready to make a commitment....I have the challenge for you!

    Biggest Loser is the name. It's a 10 week commitment with 10 teams of 24 members each. Main requirements are to weigh in each week and do the interteam challenges (ITC's). Our inter team challenges) consist of exercise and nutrition. They are very helpful in losing the weight and inches and it's fun to compete with other teams for points. Individual teams might have mini challenges of their own. If you are interested, go to my spark page and click on the blue Biggest Loser team icon. SUMMER CHALLENGE STARTS JUNE 7th!
