Welcome to my page! My name is Diane and I am a proud member of the Sunny Gals and the NW sparklers!
Contact me if you would like to join in one of my teams.
I once believed I could not lose weight or quit smoking or start exercising. But I found that if I had faith in myself and use the resources I have found on Sparks: I can! I quit smoking 5 years ago and lost over 60 pounds. I think if you look inside yourself you will be surprised to find you can do it too.

My mission statement: To appreciate and enjoy life to the fullest by gaining knowledge, mobility and grace."

Set your goals high, and dont stop till you get there.

I want to thank Sparks, the Done Girls, the Sunny Gals and all of my Sparks Friends for helping me lose over 60 pounds! I know that the PUSH Season will be the best ever! Go Sunnies! Love YA!

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Schlemeel, schlemazel, hasenfeffer incorporated.
We're gonna do it!
Give us any chance, we'll take it.
Give us any rule, we'll break it.
We're gonna make our dreams come true.
Doin' it our way.
Nothin's gonna turn us back now,
Straight ahead and on the track now.
We're gonna make our dreams come true,
Doin' it our way.
There is nothing we won't try,
Never heard the word impossible.
This time there's no stopping us.
We're gonna do it.
On your mark, get set, and go now,
Got a dream and we just know now,
We're gonna make our dream come true.
And we'll do it our way, yes our way.
Make all our dreams come true,
And do it our way, yes our way,
Make all our dreams come true
For me and you

The first rule of success, and one that supersedes all others, is to have energy.

It's important to know how to concentrate it. Focus your energy on important matters instead of frittering it away on meaningless things.

Nothing will add more power to your life then concentrating all your energies on a limited set of goals.

You must focus the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve if you truly want to be successful.

Gather in your resources, rally all your faculties, marshal all your energies, focus all your capacities upon attaining your objectives.
You must be single minded, and drive for the things you have decided upon.
The sun's rays do not burn until brought to a focus.

One Day at a Time
Whatever the goal we're pursuing,
no matter how rugged the climb,
we're certain to get there
by trying our best,
and taking One Day At A Time.

"Forever" is hard to imagine,
"the future" may seem far away-
but every new dawn
brings a wonderful chance
to do what we can on that day.

-Emily Matthews

There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.
You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal.
We either make ourselves happy or miserable. The amount of work is the same.

Let go of the past

"Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don't think that you've lost time. There is no short-cutting to life. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time."

-- Asha Tyson

No regrets. As we become more aware, we begin to realize that theres a purpose to everything that happens. This builds our trust, and supports us in being willing to be more open and daring to really experience life as it unfolds.

If we pay attention to whats happening in each moment, we will discover that life continually brings us opportunities to heal our past wounds. When a painful memory surfaces, we can take the time to feel it fully, give compassion to ourselves and any others and allow the energy to release. As we deal with the past in this way IN THE PRESENT, we free ourselves to more fully connect with life.

Why yes, I am wearing sweats today.
I also didn't fix my hair or put on make-up.
    It's Sunday. You're lucky I'm wearing a bra.

You can never tell what people are thinking and feeling
unless they tell you, and usually they lie.
You ask them, "Whats wrong?" and they say "Nothing."
You accept this because its easier than digging for the truth.
People smile when they want to cry, they laugh when they want to scream and shout.
They pretend like nothing is wrong because they dont want to face the truth.
Things aren't always rainbows and butterflies. Sometimes
you gotta scream and cry your angers and sadness to the world,
because you can only hold it in for so long before something in you snaps.
So when you want to cry, cry......when you want to scream, scream.
Don't hide behind fake smiles.....its ok to not be alright

emoticon emoticon WHAT IS YOUR MONEY WORTH? emoticon emoticon
Too many people buy things they don’t need with money they don’t have,
to impress people they don’t like............Will Rogers.

Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is.
    Fortunately, I love money............Jackie Mason

Many people are so poor because the only thing they have is money.

Don't think money does everything, or you are going to end up
    doing everything for money.
