I'm a 41 yr old mother of 2 from Illinois and am ready to be DONE with being unhealthy and overweight. I have a foot injury that makes it nearly impossible to walk every day for exercise but I'm not letting that stop me. I will do whatever it takes to lose this weight, however long it takes me. I love to swim so that is my main form of exercise. I will supplement it with short walks, when possible, and strength training. For the first time in my life I had a high cholesterol and high triglyceride reading in June 2009. I HAVE to get healthy. I cleaned out my fridge and cupboards and was DONE with continually feeding high fats and refined and processed foods into my body. This has become a life-changing journey that I've embarked on. I won't live my life in misery any more. I am DONE with my old sedentary life. I am DONE with making excuses. I will love myself again.

My Goals:

My Program:
Eat healthy food and track it every day - Low sodium, low cholesterol. I also hope to swim 5 days per week for 30 to 45 mins. I will also add 2 to 3 days per week of treadmill and elliptical along with 2 to 3 days of strength training.
Personal Information:
I'm from Illinois and have 2 sons who are the joys of my life. I enjoy reading (mostly James Patterson, Nelson DeMille type authors), singing, listening to music. I love outdoor activities and look forward to when I can do them all the time again.
Other Information:
Bless the days this restoration is complete dirty, dusty, something must be underneath So I scrape and I scuff though it's never quite enough I am starting to see me finally A gallery of paintings new and paintings old Guess it's no suprise that I'm no Michaelangelo every layer of mine hides a lovely design It might take a little patience it might take a little time ~Nicole Nordeman
