My Goals:
First and foremost, weight loss. 10 lbs first. Then 20. Eventually, I'd like to get to 160, and see how I look and feel. My BMI says I should be 130, but I don't know how realistic that is.

After that, I am hoping the weight loss lowers my A1C, and all the good stuff that comes with a lower weight.

My Program:
Low GI, Lower carb, Healthy Meals. Lots of Veggies. Lots of Fruits. Lots of protein. I'm using mostly Spark's recommended values.

Personal Information:
Relocated Buffalo girl. I live in Central NY now, with my husband, two kids, cat, guinea pig and 5 chickens.

Other Information:
ASOIAF fan. Anime, Video game, Hockey, gardening...

I saw your post and can understand that you are under a lot of stress with your mom. Just remember you can do this. It's not an all or nothing thing. It's about getting healthier but if you mess up or fall off the wagon - get back up, dust off and get back at it.

I'm challenging you today - I think you can handle this. My challenge for you is that you give yourself 8 stress free minutes. Listen to 2 songs you love that make you happy, light a candle, close your eyes - I don't care how you do it, but 8 minutes. You can do this. During this time just think to yourself that you are beautiful. You are worth 8 minutes of stress free time.

Looking forward to HLC #1 with my Green Hornets - Let's go girl!
