I like who I am becoming!

In the last 4 years my whole life has changed dramatically. I lost my husband, and a year later I moved out of the beautiful home I loved. 1 year later, my oldest son bought his own home and I couldn't be happier for him. 1 child out of the house. 2 years later, my youngest graduated from high school and now lives in Texas, thanks to the Air Force. 2 children out of the house. Thankfully, my daughter lives with me (at least for the time being). I had one heck of a pity party and packed on the ...
In the last 4 years my whole life has changed dramatically. I lost my husband, and a year later I moved out of the beautiful home I loved. 1 year later, my oldest son bought his own home and I couldn't be happier for him. 1 child out of the house. 2 years later, my youngest graduated from high school and now lives in Texas, thanks to the Air Force. 2 children out of the house. Thankfully, my daughter lives with me (at least for the time being). I had one heck of a pity party and packed on the pounds.

In February of this year, my daughter decided to start a medically supervised weight loss program recommended by her doctor. And that is what got me going! I thought that I had to start losing weight, doing this with her, to keep her motivated. But she is the one that motivates me! We keep each other in line, though that line may not always be straight (LOL)! We are both doing fantastic, but we are on different programs. I love seeing the changes in my daughter!

And I'm changing, too. Not only am I winning at losing, but I'm a happier, healthier version of me! It's amazing what losing a little weight and getting a little exercise can do for ones mood.

My Goals:
Reach my goal of 130 pounds by end of March 2015.

Exercise on my elliptical or Total Gym every other day.

Follow 7 minute exercise app 3-4 times/week.

Get out and walk my dog, Abby.

My Program:
Slim Fast - 2-3 shakes per day, 1 healthy fresh meal or frozen prepared meal, seasonal fruit in moderation, protein bar, cut up in tiny bite size pieces, a couple times per week as a treat.

Personal Information:
I am widowed, have 3 adult children, a dog and I live in southeast Wisconsin. I love to garden and I am constantly moving plants around or buying something new to pop in the ground. I am remodeling my home (a lot of paint, sweat, dust, noise and fun!) with the help of my adult son (I don't know what I would do without him). I love DIY projects and constantly scour Pinterest for ideas.

Other Information:
I'm addicted to Dancing With The Stars. I would love to be able to dance like that!
