The best thing I want to tell people about me is that I believe in the Lord. I am a preacher's wife, evangelist wife, my husband and I travel all over central NY ministering in Adult Care Community. I am also a Disabled Army Veteran. I was in the Army for three years. I am a mother, grandmother to seven. I am a facilitator of a diabetes support group in my hometown.

CONGRATS Sharon on ur AWESOME weight loss this is!!! What helped you the most?

I also lost this week,,, I'm giving it MY ALL to hit my 5%!! Though it means losing 14 lbs!!! That's quite a bit in just 8 weeks.just over 1.5 lb a week, but in the first week I only lost .6 ounces!! So yeah I had to REALLY cramp down!! I'm enjoying this. I had put on quite a bit during the Summer,,,Fall challenges. So I had talked to the dietician,,,and am following her advice all the way!!! She has remarked some only.see her cos their Dr's are making them go. As we know that rarely works. Such.a waste of insurance company money!! She said having me do as she has suggested feels nice. I'm learning much!!! Also since the first thing she does is weigh me in,,, I WANT those Pounds DOWN!!

I'm going to have my phone with me all of today if you wish to call. Tomorrow,, Sunday my meeting )bible based) gets out about 11:30. If my friend is up to it,, we'll walk the mall. I don't think she likes doing this. She has a hard time walking. Weighs around 300 and she has arthritis in her knees,,,,did when we were kids. The Dr's she has seen refuse to do the surgery,,,she isn't wanting to change her lifestyle. It makes sense she doesn't enjoy this. I though LOVE doing it!! We usually stop in the food court. I.buy Chinese food,,, make it last for 4 meals. YUMMY!!! Even splitting it up this much the calories are about 350!400. This is good for me,,,,I eat light for breakfast...have cut down drastically on sweets
