I want to live a healthy, active life by making good food choices and working out 0n a regular basis. Life is short--we can treat ourselves well in the hopes to be able to enjoy our time here, or we can make poor choices that lead to poor health and live our days out in misery, sickness and pain. I am choosing to do all I can to be healthy and well! I hope you will too!
I call it my 'Victory Prescription'. For the most part, I am eating fresh fruits and veggies along with lean meats and healthy grains. This time around, I am allowing everything--nothing is off-limits. This is not a diet, but a way to live healthy for a lifetime. I share my Spark food and fitness logs to ask my Spark friends to keep me accountable.
Wow, thanks so much for your nice comments on my page. I may have inspired you, but it's such a great feeling for me to know that other people get something out of me sharing my story and ups and downs. I struggled with yo-yo dieting for many years before I finally lost the weight I wanted to and kept it off, so I think it really is possible for just about everyone regardless of their past attempts.
