Happy New Year Spark Friends!! I am back!

Atkins and South Beach are always great plans for me. I feel great while I am on it and see results very quickly! The key is being able to stick with the low carb lifestyle change.

My name is Sheryl, I am 41 and I am ready to live a healthy life (AGAIN)! So here I am and ready to shed all this weight and be a new skinny healthier me!

I am so excited to start seeing results. Shorts... you and me are just 40 pounds away from reuniting!

I started my Spark Journey in March of 2010. I was able to lose 30 lbs, surprisingly EASY... I felt GREAT! I looked GREAT! And then BAM... I gained it ALL back plus 10 (Well 9.4 to be exact)! ;)~

The cause of my weight gain, you ask? I lost my Spark! ONE word of advise to those of you starting out new here on and those of you who have been here forever... NEVER lose your Spark!

FORTY extra pounds later, I had my AHA moment and found my Spark again and am ready to get back to where I was AND THEN SOME!!

I am keeping all of my progress pictures/badges/trophys and whatnot, as motivation!! I can't bring myself to take them down and totally start over. I did it once...I can do it again. This way I can look back and see it!! My own motivation.

BMI is 26.6 (Overweight)
4/28 Been in a stall mode 4EVER! Finally in the 140s at 148!!
I have stopped exercising! I need to get in the groove!!
BMI is 26.3 (Overweight) - I am soooo close to being in the Healthy category!!
5/27 After a month of another stall I weighed in 2.2 pounds lighter at 145.8. WoooHOOO!!
6/1/10 - Gained 5 lbs back on camping trip. Back @ 150! (+5) NUTS!

6/11/10 Starting today @ 146.5 lbs, I am going to officially start weighing in once a week. I was scolded by Sparkfriend, Koshie1, that it is unhelathy to weigh 4X a day and she's right! So every Tuesday, I will weigh in and log it here!

9/18/10 ~ 135.8... so it's not an official weigh day and I'm not changing my ticker, but I was so darn excited I had to log it!!!
9/23/10 ~ 136.4 (-1.2) Wow, I wasn't expecting that. I've had some high calorie days this week.
Total loss for September: -2.2lbs (starting from 8/27)

10/24 ~ 146.3...Party pounds well...not to mention the 4 IVs that I had in the emergency room in Gatlinburg! YIKES And TOM!! Grrr!

Fell off the wagon a bit during Spring Break in March 2011, which brought me to about 142ish...
Gained 4 more during the Barge babysitting weekend (up to 146).
Back down to my post Spring Break weight at 142.2.

My Goals:
New Mini Goal: Lose 7 lbs by my 40th birthday (June 15). 134 now, 7lbs will put me at 127. I know I can and I WILL!!!
I would like to wear shorts and cute sundresses by the beginning of the summer.
Both Goals have been met as of 6/26/10!! Woo HOO!!

5/18/2010 - Bought my first pair of size 12 shorts (CATO)!! Goal met.

5/25/2010 - Bought first sundress in years!! Not the sleeveless strappy kind, but a dress (short style) nonetheless! Goal Met

6/26/10 - Actually wore the sundress out to a party.
Goal met!

I would like to be able to go on a hike with my husband and not get much!

I would like to meet my initial goal weight of 135 by August 20, 2010 and then set a new goal weight.

Met my initial goal weight!! 10/11/10!!

Changed my ticker and set a new Goal weight of 119!! I can do it!

My Program:
February 2010: Started w/ Atkins for 2 weeks to jump start my weightloss.

Mid March 2010 Moved in to SouthBeach Phase 1

4/9 Switched to SB Ph.1.5

I have modified my "diet/healthy eating lifestyle" a little bit... I am still somewhat sticking to the SB P1.5-2 plan (which keeps my carbs and fat somewhat at bay), however am a stickler about calorie counting!! Staying within what Spark suggests 1200-1550 range.

If I want it I eat it...AS LONG as it fits into my daily calories!

And I LOG LOG LOG everything I eat in my nutrition tracker!

So far this has been working for me.

Personal Information:
Living in Antioch, TN, I am happily married to my best friend! We've been married for 7 years this March (2013). I have a wonderful 19 year old son that I absolutely adore and have enjoyed every stage of his life....good and bad! ;o) I am blessed with such a loving caring family and love my life!

Other Information:
My husband introduced me to camping when we first started dating 8 years ago and I fell in love! I absolutely love sleeping outside under the stars and sitting around the campfire with a good book, and the love of my life, listening to the sounds of nature.

I love to read!
