I've come a long way in this weight loss journey, and it's hasn't always been easy. I'm so grateful for the help and encouragement I have received from Spark friends! Without that encouragement I wouldn't be where I am now.

Daily Positive Affirmations:

For me, dieting is "Permanent": I am NOT naturally thin. I must be eternally vigilant and avoid the temptations that I can't resist.

No amount of food would "EVER" be enough food. I'm "Just as Hungry" 80, 90, or 100 pounds (Or More) Overweight as when I stick to my goal weight.

YOUR LEVEL OF SUCCESS IS ONLY PREDETERMINED BY YOUR LEVEL OF EFFORT.

"You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks, jump over the hurdles and break through the brick walls that are always going to be placed in front of you. If you don't have that kind of feeling for what it is you are doing, you'll stop at the first giant hurdle."

Thanks for your support and comment on my blog "confront and correct". I completely understand the difficulties of bi-polar, my 2 sons are both bi-polar and it was crazy at home, utter chaos most of the time. At least the grandson goes home with his mother. My poor daughter. As for the no-whining, I really had to muscle through it the first 24-48 hours, close mouth, stop, breathe, breathe again, sometimes walk away. It has gotten easier and I am seeing the benefits. Good luck!
