I started losing weight with SparkPeople in February 2007 at 186.4 pounds when my hubby offered a New Laptop when I reached 130 pounds. By September I weighed 156 pounds. A whopping 30 pound loss!! I was so proud of myself, I think I got lazy. Now, over a year later, I've managed to keep my weight off, but nothing more.
Well, when my old laptop died and I still had weight to lose, my hubby felt he had to get me a new one anyway. He was so proud of me for my accomplishment, he didn't mind so much that I didn't make it to my ultimate goal yet.
Update: 4/12/10- I've gained 10 pounds back over the past year. I'm really going to try and get it back off and finish my journey to my goal weight. I'm tired of my clothes fitting too tightly.
Update: 12/15/10- I've been doing Weight Watchers since May 2010 and have lost another 20 pounds. I'm now only 10 pounds from GOAL!!! WOOHOO!!
Update: 4/20/12- WOW! I've gained some weight back! I keep trying to get it back off, but I'm really struggling. I never did get to my ultimate goal, but I'm back here to see how much closer I can get.
I would like to finish losing weight. I'd like to eventually get down to 120 pounds.
I really enjoy exercise that actually accomplishes something, like: cutting grass, moving boxes/wood/hay, cleaning house, shopping, etc. Mostly our exercise consists of going to the gym early in the morning, though.
I am a pastor's wife, homeschooling mom to four children, ages 17, 15, 13 & 11. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking & sewing.
