I am Cee (formerly "Sexy Writer"). I'm a free-spirited d'jeli/storyteller, poet, martial artist, mom, wife and a 51-year-old woman who has come through the other side of a debilitating bout of depression. I am Cee (formerly "Sexy Writer"). I'm a free-spirited d'jeli/storyteller, poet, martial artist, mom, wife and a 51-year-old woman who has come through the other side of a debilitating bout of depression. I'd lost two family members within a month of each other, and tumbled head first into PTSD. Thanks to going for treatment and therapy, I can see light through the end of a dark, shocking tunnel. I took a leave from life, and now I am back on Sparks with a new username and a determination to live life to the fullest. How? By making new friends, leaning and renewing my relationships with my former ones, and relying on my faith, I shall come out better on the other side by recognition and vigilance. I want to be one of those to tell you can survive major depression. My Goals:
1. Remember what it's like to enjoy excercising and feeling absolutely good afterwards. Like I used to. 2. Make it - once again - and myself a priority in my life. 3. Remembering life on Earth is an adventure, and I should enjoy it. Personal Goals: Spend the next 360 nurturing myself body, mind, spirit. As much as I want to lose all this weight, I can't focus solely on that. I'll be a nervous wreck! Focus on my natural talents. Listen to what spirit is telling me and go from there. Enter 5-Ks within my community.
My Program:
-- Get 4 - 5 days of cardio and weight training, anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. -- My eating plan is a simplified version of the WW points system -- my points is 26 for my height and weight w/49 weekly surplus poins. I have to increase my veggie/fruit/whole grain intake and lessen the process food stuff for it to be effective. -- Water, water, water. -- Coffee. (sigh) Have to lessen the amount I drink because it's causing me to retain fluid. -- Ease up off the sugar (Diabetes run in my family as well as hypertension .. neither I want. ) -- Take time to rest and renew. -- Love the silence so I can communicate with the Most High. -- Read, write, Spark. -- I am a naturally driven woman. I am learning how to BE.
Personal Information:
51years old. Libra. Married. Two grown sons, Mom of Kovu, the Wonder Dog (My shelter pup is 9-years-old now and like me has some arthritis to contend with.)
