I rarely eat onions and garlic. Onions are not on Dr. Westman's food list, but sometimes I will use a bit to flavor something. I don't know what sets off my IBS. My gastroenterologist said often times there is no specific food that causes it and I could try elimination of foods to see if not eating something specific helps.
I take a bunch of medications and have a doctor that doesn't want me to go off of any of them. My husband and I are on Social Security and juggle our finances. I didn't have any foods on the list except eggs for a long while due to high bills for our vehicle maintenance and a swimming pool. I paid for going off keto with a 16 pound weight gain in three months. My doctor was livid. 151 days ago
