My adult weight range is from 140 - 230. I've previously only lost weight when I was stressed! My favorite food group is "gooey", but my eating habits are not horrible. Regular meals, fruits and veg, just too many treats and not enough exercise. Wish I was as prone to sleek as my hounds!

Current Status:
SHEL_V2 Best way to make sure a project around the house happens... rip out whatever needs to go. Much easier to make a choice when the flooring is ripped up.

My Goals:
I'm trying to learn to love running so I won't have to poke myself to exercise. I want to reach a healthy weight with the tools to remain there.

1/30/2013 - New driver's license photo! DONE! So much thinner than the last one.

10/31/2013 - Weight at 145, or adjust the goal to a weight I will maintain with a reasonable effort. I'm not coming back this way!

My Program:
2013: Keto-adapted vegetarian. 60 minutes of vigorous cardio at least 4x per week.

2010 - 2013: Plant-based, low fat, very few calories in liquid form. At least 45 minutes of vigorous cardio 3x per week, some strength training.

Before 2010 - eat whatever non-meat I want, whenever I want, do no exercise, and weigh about 200 lbs.

Other Information:
Oh, to be as effortlessly sleek as my greyhounds!

Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog. Sometimes it's necessary to confront a bully, even a verbal one. That's what I consider a man who would put down a woman based on body type.

The sad thing is that all I was shopping for was a simple pair of mostly cotton walking shorts... and never did manage to find any! Every type I tried had the same issue - too snug across the lower belly and hips. Size 4 fit in the waist, size 6 was too big in the waist, sizes 8 and 10 just got bigger in the waist, but the hip size stayed exactly the same. I even placed them all on top of each other to double-check, and sure enough the waist sizes changed but not the hip (although the leg width changed too - go figure).

I hit 4 different stores, and tried ones from 6 different manufacturers, and have almost concluded that I might just have to learn how to sew now...
