Personal Information:
I'm Sherri from Winston-Salem, NC. I enjoy cycling, swimming, wogging (walk/jogging), gardening, Bible study, reading, piano, golf, traveling (especially mission trips). I am, unfortunately, a jack of many trades - master of none! That keeps me from getting in a rut, but prevents me from excelling at any one thing.
I am an RN, currently unemployed in order to help care for my parents. I manage a free clinic 2 mornings a week in a low-income area of our town.
Family is my passion. I am motivated to get and stay fit in order to enjoy my family to the max!

Other Information:
I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, Sophie and Lola. Pure bliss :)

Thank you for the goodie and the info on canning green beans! I LOVE my VitaMix and will have to start making some fruit smoothies in the evening for my dessert. I have fresh beans from my garden, but not nearly enough to can. I will have to look around to see where I can get some to can. We have lots of local farmers, so it shouldn't be too hard. Do you keep them whole or cut them?

I'm glad I inspired you to take the no sweets challenge~it definitely isn't easy for me (hence, the word challenge!). I can certainly go one week, though.

Thanks for the goodie clubs. I enjoyed our time together also and hope we will get to play all 18 together sometime. The weather was so much nicer today to play, breezy and not so hot. course was a little crowded and we waited on every hole, but hey, it was a holiday and to be expected. emoticon
