I'm back after about a 6 -7 month lapse. My goals from last year mirror this year almost identically. Deep breathe and jump in again. 2012 was not my most successful year in terms of diet and weight loss. On the other hand, I'm still working on it and ready to renew my effort. Minimum of 2 miles exercise daily. 5. Watch out for the derails 6. Always enjoy the journey

My Goals:
2012 - Shooting for 160 by the end of the year. Moving towards a more plant based diet when possible. Health in body, mind and spirit. Remember every day is a fresh start.
My Program:
Ideally split exercise into a morning and an afternoon piece. Limit wine to a single glass a day. Do my own cooking so I can keep a good grip on the salt content. Add more kale to my diet.
Personal Information:
I'm a native Californian but, with 50 years in MN, I'm your basic Midwesterner now but, the ocean still draws me like a magnet. Home is a suburban rambler filled with Dave (Dad), 3 fish tanks, 2 cats and a couple of dogs that visit now and then.
Other Information:
Current Read: audio version of "Dog On It". Anticipating the 2nd season of Downton Abbey. Volunteer at my local library twice a week. Anchors my week nicely.
