April 2011 I had a reality check. I was 25, single, overweight, and not happy about it... so I started to change. After I lost 40 lbs I found SparkPeople and it has kept me motivated to lose more! Currently I'm down over 90 lbs from my highest weight in 2004, and I'm ready to make it an even 100.

As a treat to myself I had a brachioplasty in August of 2012. The revision surgery in December 2012 made my left arm fantastic... but the right one -- not so much. After my armpit incision ripped open completely, and five and a half months later finally healed -- I'm hitting the gym hard to make it to my goal in 2013!
I was aiming for 150 when I started (I'm 5'10") but I don't think I'll be able to really get there. I'm pushing for 170 realistically, 160 hopefully, and 150 delusionally.

I have a gallery of my progress pics here: http://imgur.com/a/6EoIg
My Goals:
Always drink at least 15 glasses of water a day (I'm usually good, but sometimes it slips...)
To be a "oneder" (aka--under 200 lbs) by the end of the year. **Accomplished 12/11
My Program:
I'm eating smart. This doesn't mean no chocolate and only veggies though. I try to balance my calories and meals while eating healthy 85-90% of the time.
I spend a lot of time on my core doing situps and using a balance ball to help prevent my sciatica from coming back (when you have sciatica at 23--you've got issues!). I also try and walk fast on my treadmill a few times a week on at least a 5% incline.

You just defended, right? What is your degree? I get job leads sent to me on occasion, and I could let you know of anything that I hear about, if it's relevant. And if you're looking.
You keep shrinking. The shrinking can take the shape of our portion sizes in our food intake or how we approach our thinking. It will eventually hit to our body size. You keep of the good work. You are doing well.
I've been pretty slow so far. I started going back to the fitness studio that I was attending before the surgery just 2 or 3 days a week. I've been doing a little cardio and a little weights. Plus Cory and I bought bikes so we have been riding those too. My biggest problem is when I'm not exercising I'm eating and it physically hurts when I eat too much. My stomach is so tight it's crazy.
I DO think I made the right decision and I do feel better. I didn't go down clothing sizes or anything, but there is a noticeable difference and I feel wonderful and sexy. The scar is a bit unsettling but I've been all about some Mederma.
My belly Button is what has taken the longest to heal. It's so tight that it keeps blistering up. But the doctor said that was normal! Also it's strange not to feel your stomach.
But I'm happy and trying to healthy! How are you doing?
Haha, yeah, he's pretty affectionate!! I got a big hug and an "I love you" when I went to have this pic signed too. I will also tell you..... he smells fantastic.
Oh gosh I have no idea. I wish I wish he would like.. Kiss my cheek or something haha but I don't even know. I'm gonna be fangirlling so hard that I might pass out.
