I was a Strongman competitor at the national level in 2014. I now live in west Africa, and my weight climbed quickly as I adjusted to a 60-hour work week, different food availability and preparation, and a challenging climate. I now live in west Africa, and my weight climbed quickly as I adjusted to a 60-hour work week, different food availability and preparation, and a challenging climate. Fortunately, I do have a well-outfitted home gym and a husband that does all our cooking. I have had an under active thyroid for almost twenty years, but doctors continue to tell me my current medicated levels are normal, despite my continued weight gain. I have to adapt my lifestyle to find a way to not only curb the weight gain, but to get down to a more athletic 180 or so. I reached a new all-time highest weight of 210 pounds on November 8, 2015. This is not the kind of high score I want in life! My first goal is to get to 190 pounds, which is just under the weight I was when I arrived here. I appreciate the community support on SP and look forward to interacting with you. I especially enjoy reading the blogs, so if you write one or know of a good one please send it my way! My Goals:
I am training for the North American Strongman 2014 Nationals, Women's Middleweight Division (140.4-180.4 pounds).

Exercise Commitment:
100% compliance on my Strongman training plan 4x/week
Diet Commitment: 100% compliance on my nutritionist's plan for me


My Program:
I do Strongman training 4x/week and walk my dogs 1.5 miles a few times a week. I occasionally do acroyoga as well. I use my bike to commute semi-regularly.
