I am a Strongman competitor training for nationals. I'm working on getting heavy things overhead, carrying heavy things 50 feet, lifting a car, and putting kegs over a bar. It's hard work and tons of fun!

I am a Strongman competitor training for nationals. I'm working on getting heavy things overhead, carrying heavy things 50 feet, lifting a car, and putting kegs over a bar. It's hard work and tons of fun!

For my previous competition, I didn't have to worry about my weight. I unexpectedly qualified for nationals and after looking at the heavyweight events, found that I would not be able to accomplish any of the lifts in the heavyweight class. So, after talking to my coaches, I'm going to cut 15 pounds and compete in the middleweight competition! I hired a nutritionist to help me do it safely and effectively.

I will be participating in the Fall 5% challenge as well!

My Goals:
I am training for the North American Strongman 2014 Nationals, Women's Middleweight Division (140.4-180.4 pounds).

Exercise Commitment:
100% compliance on my Strongman training plan 4x/week
Diet Commitment: 100% compliance on my nutritionist's plan for me


My Program:
I do Strongman training 4x/week and walk my dogs 1.5 miles a few times a week. I occasionally do acroyoga as well. I use my bike to commute semi-regularly.
