I first joined SparkPeople February 6, 2010!
MY Heart Health was the reason I found SparkPeople in the first place. I was being released from the Hospital ICU because my heart had gone into A fibrillation and with medications my heart was still not in a normal rhythm, but safe to go home and continue medications.This was December 31,2009 and I spent that time learning how to eat heart healthy. I was not eating heart healthy and many changes had to made. A heart healthy food plan is; low sodium, stop drinking coffee and no caffeine a stimulant that could cause my heartbeat to get worse out of rhythm, eat lean proteins meat sources, cut the bad fat, eat Vegetables and fruits and whole natural foods and low, fat dairy. There was little choice of whether I wanted to follow this stricter food plan and it was and still is life and death if I don't stay on a healthier food plan for my heart, which would severely impact my Health if I don't. The Nutritionist wrote down SparkPeople.com at my request for site to help me with this Huge task of Heart Healthy Eating.~~

We are given our own page and own tools to keep track of all the progress we make on our own personal Journeys to a better Healthy Lifestyle for the rest of our lives. What a concept that many of us may not have been aware of and to think we can live a healthy lifestyle for life is so Awesome!

Spark Friends,I love this part of Sparkpeople! Thank you for being my friends and all the caring, supportive, encouraging, positive and kindness you give me daily and to all you friends to members here, take a Bow, I applaud you all and You are what makes this SparkPeople World Go around. Without friends here, I cannot imagine what it would be like, I would not like to find out!
Found myself with more obligations than I was able to keep up with and had a very difficult decision to make, as I was very overwhelmed and spent to much time online, A Team Leader of one team and Co Leader of another and so many awesome friends. The balance of these oblgations were to much for me and on August 15, 2012 I left a goodbye letter on the teams and closed my SPark account. I tried not to look back and work on Me and spend more time with my loving family. I did just that. On August 21, I returned to SparkPeople, I did indeed miss you all and found there is no other site that is as comprehensive as SparkPeople.
My Sparking was having some igniting problems and I spent much less time Sparking and my Spark is trying to get to where it once was. The strange part was how I was not thinking so much about losing weight and managed to lose 12 pounds and in the year 2012!
The year 2012 is now over and it's time to recommit in 2013 to lose 13 pounds or more. I intend to fight with determination to accomplish this goal! Please join me and I will help support you along the way, I know I will need encouragemant and support to stay strong and focused on the continued Journey I am on to a Healthy Lifestyle for Life. I am going to succeed in 2013!! Here we Go, Together We Can Do This, Yes We Can and Will!!
MY goal is simply to reduce what I currently weigh.
To Be consistent with Daily walking for a minimum of 15 minutes.
To Eat More Vegetables Consitently.
Simply eat healthy!
Focus on eating several smaller meals and snacks to keep a healthy balance.
Eat less Salt and Sugar.
Eat Lean meats and healthy fats;
nuts, peanut butter.
Eat 2 fruits a day and as many vegetables as I can and increase to a healthy amount daily.
From the beautiful Pacific Northwest out in the country on some agreage and enjoy the space, beauty and privacy living out in the country gives you.

Started WW about 5 weeks ago. Lost 9.6 so far. So far to go but I'm trying to Penney my weight to death lol.
