My plan is to eat the right types of food and portion size. I plan to track every bite I have and drink 64 oz. of water every day.
I also plan on walking every day to start off with. Once I shed some pounds and the knees will allow more I plan to change the workout routine.
I realize, if I want to live to see more grandchildren and be active with my family I need to become healthier. My husband is in the same boat. I do not like what I see in the mirror one bit and only I can change this, well with support from others.
A few years ago, for my birthday my husband gave to us lessons for Ballroom/Social Dancing. Oh, how I loved it. 6 months after our first class I injured my knee that has been hurting ever since. I hope by losing some weight I will be able to reduce the stress on the knee and begin to dance again.
The most sacred place dwells within our heart, where dreams are born and secrets sleep, a mystical refuge of darkness and light, fear and conquest, adventure and discovery, challenge and transformation. Our heart speaks for our soul every moment while we are alive. Listen... as the whispering beat repeats: be...gin, be...gin, be...gin. It's really that simple. Just begin... again." -Royce Addington
