Thanks so much for your comments on my 12.5 mile blog. I'm doing the Ohio River Road Runners Half-Marathon (there will also be a marathon--the oldest on Ohio). I think it'll be pretty small, but a good one to start. As for training this week--10 miles sounds very doable and of course I'll taper the week before the race. My training plan allows for 3 days per week, too. I do the Galloway plan of 2 30 minute runs then a longer run on the weekend. Will look up the FIRST training--it sound sort of similar, thanks for the link (and for the info about the dates)!
