To Sum Up: I am 40, an introvert, suffer chronic depression, lost 100 pounds, gained it back, trying again!. I live in Maryland and hate it. Update (07/16/15): Good grief. Well, at least I've only gained about 15 pounds more since my last update. :P Sometimes I want to erase all the previous updates, but that's not really fair to myself. I am going to try to get more involved with people here on Spark. I think one of the things keeping me from succeeding again is having friends, motivation, and friendly competition.

Update (12/23/14): Not much has changed. I continue my downhill slide and am back up to my highest weight, all 100 pounds gained right back over the last 3 years. Ugh.

Update (01/13/13): Let's just say I'm a great big ol' failure right now and leave it at that. Maybe I won't be again at some point but screw making commitments and promises because I obviously failed hardcore at them in the last year.

Update (02/03/12): After taking a few months off from my normal workout routine and indulging in some holiday festivities, my weight has crept up to 135 pounds. This is hardly a shocker and was totally expected given the decreased activity and increased eating. I'm back to Spark just until I get back to my 125 to 130 range which probably won't take long at all with the spring weather moving in. I'm hoping to get back on Mudsprocket soon, and I'm back to working out on the treadmill 5 to 6 days a week for an hour instead of 4 days for 45 minutes.

Update! (11/29/11): I've been maintaining my weight +/- 3 pounds since the summer but seem to have settled more into the 127ish area than 125ish, and I'm totally ok with that since that's where my body is happiest. Mudsprocket has been put away for the winter months, and I've adopted a lower scale of activity (running 4 to 5 days a week instead of running/biking all 7) until spring while working on speed and distance. Coming up on six months of maintenance and I feel strong and successful for continuing to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Update! (06/11/11): I have decided 125 is "good enough" and have decided to stop cutting calories and begin eating at a maintenance level of calories. I'm hoping to convince myself to endure more ST to tone up a few areas (mostly my core) and will continue to bike and run every day just as I have been.

PREVIOUS GOALS: I have now achieved (and exceeded) my original weight loss goal of weighing 130 pounds. I have also met (or exceeded) all of my "inches" goals of a waist of 28" or less, hips 36" or less, and calves 14.5" or less.

My Program:
I need to eat less, period. My eating is generally clean. I don't eat fast food or a lot of sweets or drink much pop. I do enjoy a good pizza now and again.

I need to lay off the snack food though, and I need to stop craving binges on things like cheese.

I do barn chores several times a week and ride my horse twice a week. I'm trying to motivation myself to do some ST with kettle bells and some more biking.

I have a lot of rugs made from a loom. I love them, they last forever and wash up so nice. I didn't know that you could make all those other things with it too. Sounds like you have a lot of fun with it. Good for you!!

Thanks for the comment on my hair. I love the color, but the cut is driving me crazy. I asked for layers, and yeah, I guess that's what I got. However, I look way too much like my mom... as in, 50 years old... ^_^. I think I've got to get that fixed ASAP.
