My name is Sara. It's been 6 years since I first join spark and it's been a rollercoaster ride of lessons. I am finally finished with college. I am proud, independent, single mom. I have a great job, am about to buy to my first home, and am raising a beautiful, curious, little boy. But I am "mom" all the time. I do not think about myself, my health, or my free-time. I have horrible confidence in my body and fueled my unhappiness in my loveless relationship with my son's dad with food. I became severely addicted to sugar. I need a life overhaul or I will continue to gain weight and completely lose myself. After eating away a one-sided relationship, I stand at the bottom of a 65 pound mountain, fed-up and steadily climbing one day at a time. I lost 25 pounds in 2008 and kept it off for 3 years. I know I can do this again and keep it going for life.

My Goals:
To have great confidence in my body and it's ability to amazing things by fueling it properly and pushing it to the limits regularly. I want to be proud of myself regardless of what size I am and a wonderful example of a strong, powerful, caring woman for my son.

My Program:
Reason: to end my body issues once and for all as a great example for my son
Fitness: 30 minutes of a couch to 5k running plan, 3x/week
Food: 1400 calories of high protein, high fat, no sugar, no packaged food

Personal Information:
I'm a mother of a beautiful little boy trying to figure out who I am again. I am an energy engineer and am passionate about saving the Earth, one BTU of gas, kWh of electricity, and gallon of water at a time.

Other Information:
I have an extremely open personality, sometimes I tell people too much about me! I'm very outgoing and love sports, except basketball. I used to play division 1 softball but my life is my family and my career, at the moment.

Hey girlie! Things have been crazy here! My husband and I just bought a house, so we are in the process of moving. The house has been empty for 2 years, so there's LOTS of cleaning and painting that needs to be done before we actually move all of our stuff in....so we have been busy with that! We have to have everything out of our apartment by Monday, so the next few days are going to be pretty hectic! Not so much fun when I'm 36 weeks preggo! haha I'll just be happy once it's over though! I'm ready to get the nursery and everything set up in the new house....and ready for this little guy's arrival! I'm definitely at the point where I just feel uncomfortable majority of the time! haha
