Fit for Life!

I've done this health and fitness thing too many times to count but I wanted to finally hit my goal for my 35th birthday in March 2013. I have all the tools and knowledge to be successful. I just need the tenacity to stick with it! Patience is not a virtue of mine, which causes me to always fall off the wagon. What's worse is that my husband works out alot and is very fit without watching what he eats, so he often leads me down the path of temptation and I really need to be delivered from that ...

I just need the tenacity to stick with it! Patience is not a virtue of mine, which causes me to always fall off the wagon. What's worse is that my husband works out alot and is very fit without watching what he eats, so he often leads me down the path of temptation and I really need to be delivered from that evil.
I joined SP in October 2012 and had immediate success. Within 5 months I'd lost 25lbs and felt great. Spring and Summer arrived and I was ready! I was cuter, in smaller clothes and feeling really good about myself. What was the only thing to do? Indulge! I totally went off plan and into the land of denial. I wouldn't even look at the scale. It's Fall 2013 now and I have some catching up to do. I should be at my goal weight and I am far from it. Let's see if I can match the success from this time last year and finish what I started!!!

My Goals:
1. Drink at least 8 cups of water per day.
2. Do not drink any soda or juices.
3. Eat at least 2 fruits or veggies each day.
4. Take a complete multivitamin at least 5 days per week.
5. Walk/Run at least 10 miles per week.
6. Walk/Run 5 miles, one time per week.
7. Complete 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times per week.
8. Take the stairs at least 10 steps, six times per day.
9. Lose 1lb or more, one time per week.
10. Read a weight-loss success story once per day.
11. Huddle with each of my Spark teams 3 times per week.
12. Reach 130lbs by 10/8/13.
13. Run a 5k without stopping or walking. (Goal met 4/27/13)!
14. Run 4miles without stopping or walking.
15. Run an 8k without stopping or walking.
16. Run a 10k without stopping or walking.

My Program:
a. Daily calorie limit of 1550.
b. 3-4 days of cardio per week.
c. 2-3 days of strength training per week.
d. No red meat
e. Pork no more than 6x per year.

No, I'm sad to say it's the end of an era. But they have a wonderful new leadership team lined up full of fun and silliness. Life is full of changes. Not to sound like Eeyore but thanks for noticing.
