Thanks for your post regarding my lack of hunger. I didn't want to be ungrateful there, but I do believe that all the fear around so-called starvation mode is unwarranted, especially for someone who eats regularly 360 days of the year at least! Many thin people routinely go long periods without eating with no dire effects.
I have also read the information on intermittent fasting and even considered it, though every time I tried it on purpose, my binge urges reared up. I've decided I'm going to try not to resist these fasts when they come on their own like this one did. It doesn't happen often, so I doubt they can be harmful in the long run. It was the mental issue I was more concerned with, anyway. I just wish the desire to eat would go away for that time, too! I'm not plagued by the desire to eat when I'm not hungry on other days. Maybe this is all part of the process of getting free of the bonds of food. Statistically, it takes between 2 and 5 years for the likelihood of relapse to drop drastically.
