Jan. 2010: I look like a drunken zombie, but I like my legs! Even with my thighs. Boo yes, please.

Somewhere between 205 and 210. I got a little heavier than this, but no photo evidence exists.

Let's do the dang thing! *FEBRUARY 2010* After being on a roll for a few months, I'm stuck in the 60s. It's my fault, and now I'll fix it. F@#KIN' FIFTIES, here I come, baby! And yes, I do love Lady Gaga that much. It's a sickness. Some "introduction text" from way back when: *NOVEMBER 2009* At 24, I've been overweight my entire life, but it's time to get over that. The past should not define me; I define me. I am a handful of pounds away from a healthy BMI. I am less than 30 pounds away from my goal weight. I must choose: old, comfortable habits and excuses.. or a new, unfamiliar way of life. I need to live in the now, not the then. I must choose every day, every meal, every workout. RIP, former self. It is time to let you go. *AUGUST 2009* At 23, I've been a so-called "thick girl" all of my life; at my heaviest five years ago, I hung around the low 200s (205-210 pounds. I'm 5'8", so I was a size 16 and very close to an 18). Since then, and especially since graduating college a year ago, I've cleaned up a few habits (I don't recommend my beer and late-night calzone diet circa 2007).. but there is a lot of room for improvement. Right now I'm a size 10 in generous labels or a size 12 in "meaner" brands. I joined SparkPeople in May 2009 and have dilly dallied with the usual self-sabotage and lack of results. I need to get real to conquer my eating issues, fear of failure, and other unhealthy behavior that seems like an unbreakable pattern at times. "We must be the change we wish to see." - Ghandi Updated update: I started working with a trainer at a new gym in late August 2009. I've always been an aimless cardio hamster, so I look forward to the benefits of proper strength training and the personalized cardio/strength/eating/whatever else they sold me plan/program. Will post measurements/results as they roll in. Or off. :) P to the S: If you add me as a SparkFriend, please let me know!
