Run, Mama, Run

My name is Sara and I'm a wife and mother of two beautiful girls. I've struggled with my weight over the years, but since joining SparkPeople, things seem to be getting under control. I also recently started walking/jogging races -- you might say it's my new addiction. I hope to one day complete a half-marathon, running the whole way!

My Goals:
My main goal is to get healthy and fit and actually be able to run around after my kids. If I get back to my high school weight, that's just a bonus. My main focus is to get below 180 and STAY THERE!

My Program:
I've started shaking things up. Most days consist of cardio (1-2 hours either walking/jogging or on my trusty elliptical). I try to fit strengh training in where I can -- really need to get better about that.

Diet consists of lean proteins and lotsa fruits and veggies. Of course, I splurge occasionally... A girl needs her chocolate, people!

Personal Information:
I was born and raised in Orange County, CA, and haven't moved too far from home.

Hello, I found ya'll again! I hope to be back and stay! I have been walk running too and it is so fun! I did a 5k with hills I thought my legs would never forgive me! Hehe hit me back
