Unseen Friend

by Rachel Whiteside

Although you are a friend of mine,
and letters we exchange.
I wouldn't know you on the street,
and doesn't that seem strange?

You hold a place within my heart,
unusual and unique;
We share ideals and special dreams,
and still, we do not speak.

I picture who I think you are,
perhaps you picture me.
An intriguing game for both of us,
for someone we cannot see.

So for this friendship we possess,
we owe this mail a debt.
Perhaps the charm lies in the fact,
that we have never met

Thank you my unseen friend for the gift of your friendship.
Hugs
Pat

If there were no such word as “Friend”
what would you be?

Maybe the wave that guides my ship
through the tough and fearless sea

Maybe the wind that carries me along
when I’m too tired, helpless or weak

Maybe the answer to the prayer
that I sometimes need

Maybe the smile that appears
when life get’s terribly rough

Maybe the heart that is always open
with unconditional love

Maybe a treasure or a rainbow.
A shining star or an angel

Or maybe just “Someone Special”

You, my friend, are that Someone Special.

Hugs
Pat

I can't praise this program enough! John is helping me so much too! He helps me remember to credit myself and he keeps assuring me too that after doing it enough it WILL become natural to me and I believe it.

Be sure to let me/us know about your doctor things!

Have a great and worry-free evening, Marsha!
