I'm 80+ lbs below my all time high and I've lost over 50 pounds since Dec. 2008. In 2009 I achieved a healthy BMI 25. Then with SparkPeople I was able to achieve BMI 21, a weight I always wanted!

Achievement seems to be connected with action.
Successful men and women keep moving.
They make mistakes, but they don't quit.

Thank you for your blog love on my "I'm back at my goal" blog today. Yes, I celebrated. I received the nicest comments on my blog and goodies that made me cry. I helped DH stack firewood for 90 minutes and I did go shopping for a wee while. I also made myself the tastiest on-plan scallops for dinner. It was a great day and you started it off by cheering me on.

I'm not counting on this getting easier...if it does, then that will be a bonus. I'm counting on providing the relentless determination it takes a POW to maintain. I'm glad we're on this journey together too...you're a wonderful inspiration!!!

Thank you for your kind thoughts on our political situation, Marsha -- it's shocking. A part of Ottawa which I know very very well -- and cannot imagine the disruption of the peace, order and good government which has always prevailed in our capital city. It's so heartening to see the response: an outpouring of (typically Canadian) calm, resolve, courtesy and absolute refusal to vilify or hate. I am proud of my country and its people.

Smiling is infectious, You can catch it like the flu.
Someone smiled at me today, And I started smiling too.

Keep smiling and let's skip the flu!
