Maintaining 80 Pound Loss with SP & Relentless Determination!

I'm 80+ lbs below my all time high and I've lost over 50 pounds since Dec. 2008. In 2009 I achieved a healthy BMI 25. Then with SparkPeople I was able to achieve BMI 21, a weight I always wanted!

My Goals:
* Maintain 80+ pound loss.
* Focus on eating sensibly, healthy foods enjoyed with dignity. Go back to tracking if average weight exceeds 132 pounds.
* Keep on running. Go for PRs.

Current PRs:
.5 Mile=4:01 (12/21/13)
1 Mile = 8:47 (4/13)
5K = 27:33 (4/13/13)
10K = 1:01:13 (3/16/13)
HM =2:26:02 (11/24/13)


My Program:
Clean SWEEP:

Clean = eat with dignity
S = 7-8 hrs sleep
W = 8 glasses water
E = eat healthy
E = exercise 6 times/wk
P = persistence



Personal Information:
65 years old, 5'6", 129-134 pounds. Retired social worker-grant writer-nonprofit administrator. One adult daughter. I keep my two darling granddaughters 4-6 days a week when my DD & DSIL work. Weigh less right now than I did in junior high. Have struggled with weight all my life, but I just may have it now!!

Other Information:
You don't have to be perfect to succeed, but you do have to be determined. Never, never, never give up!

Thank you for the goodie. I am honored to be your friend. I am actually 58 (I finally updated my page). I have been on Spark People so long- that I find it embarrassing that I have made so little progress. However- individuals like you inspire me and I am 'restarting" perhaps this is the time I will make it!

You are right, I learn by writing so these long blogs are helping me that way! I also cannot believe how many write to me and tell me THEY are learning so much from them!
