NEW LIFE -- NEW BEGINNINGS
Well after being away from SPARK for about a year... Oh that's not really true. I have dropped in now and then to try and get back to my loseing weight. With my life being interrupted numerous times due to family obligations it's been hard to stay with routines that I have started and stopped. Been chunky most of my life but have been pretty healthy. Outside of having my two Son's, foot surgery, shoulder surgery, and a bout with colitis it's been a relativly healthy life. Up until ...
Well after being away from SPARK for about a year... Oh that's not really true. I have dropped in now and then to try and get back to my loseing weight. With my life being interrupted numerous times due to family obligations it's been hard to stay with routines that I have started and stopped. Been chunky most of my life but have been pretty healthy. Outside of having my two Son's, foot surgery, shoulder surgery, and a bout with colitis it's been a relativly healthy life. Up until now that is. My life is on the borderline!! On 8-30-2012 my work place had a Health Fair. Most of the tests that they had there came out good. Bone Density test -- good, Suger test -- good, Blood Test -- good, the Lipid and Chemistry Panel Levels Results that I received Thursday 9-06-2012 where not good at all. My Cholesterol, Triglycerides, LDL,VLDL are all HIGH. So this upcoming week I will be contacting my Doctor to go over these results and get back down to healthy levels before I have a stroke or heartattack!!! I owe this lifestly change to not just myself but to my wonderful careing Husband John who will be celebrating 31 years of marriage with me on 9-19-2012, My two Wonderful Son's Chris and Steve. And my three awesome Granson's Brent, Cole, and Terran. So this is a NEW LIFE that I am going to be working very hard on changing. This is not going to be easy for me. I know that as I have aged and left myself get this heavy it's going to take some time to reach my goals. But with all the help and encouragement on this site I can have NEW BEGINNINGS as well. To be continued !!!

My Goals:
Daily Goals - 1,200 calories a day! 15 mins. of stretching 30 mins. of walking on Treadmill or walking trail! Short term goal -- reach 140 pounds by May 31st.
My Program:
Walking on the treadmill 3 days a week. Working out with free weights, totol gym, and floor exercises at least 2 days a week!
Personal Information:
Married to a wonderful loving husband John , two Sons who have given me 3 beautiful Grandsons. I love nature, anything and everything to do with horses.
