I joined SparkPeople in 2011. Although I tracked my food and exercise daily, I never really got serious about my weight loss. I would track for several weeks or even months, then give up. I even joined Weight Watchers several times, but don't like counting points. Calories are much easier to count. I think I finally realized that just tracking wouldn't do the trick...I had to really apply myself. After several attempts, I have finally committed to ME that I am worth it to be healthy and hopefully will lose weight in the process. I really need to change my eating habits and start walking and exercising again. This time I am going to overcome all the obstacles that I have continually thrown in front of myself. No more negative self talk....only positive thoughts. This past Sunday at church the sermon was about the choices we make and the consequences of those choices. You can have blessings or curses. I am choosing Blessings! My goal is to take baby steps and lose 30 eating healthy, tracking my food, tracking my exercising, and holding myself accountable for my actions. I am doing this for ME, because I finally realized that I am worth it!

Become a healthier person and lose 30 pounds in the process.

My goal is to lose a minimum of .5 lb a week. If I lose more that would be great!

My Program:
Fix healthy meals
Walk every day
Exercise to DVD 3x a week
Drink water

To accomplish my goal I will eat healthy meals and concentrate on fruits, veggies, and protein. Also need to start drinking water.
