Fitness Minutes: 2,659

My Goals:
as of 3/4/2013
Weigh in on the Wii Fit at least once a week
Lose 10-20 pounds and preferably 2 pants sizes (i'm currently 229 and wear a 42 pants, and 2x shirt)
Work out 15-30 minutes a day, switching between cardio, yoa, and strength/resistance
Track my food and blood glucose 3 days a week according to when my dr wants me to track
Drink 8-12 glasses of water a day, and work on getting off my meds (currently 2000mg Metformin before bed)

My Program:
Gradually increasing my weekly exercise, tracking what I eat and drink, eating less processed sugars and "bad carbs" and more vegetables and water. Quit beef, reduced cheese by more than 50% and reduced other meat eating as well. Eating green smoothies at least 5 times a week
tracking my BG as ordered by my Dr
Focusing on "Complete proteins" as ordered by dietitian

I'm also in a gardening group if you're in the area and interested.

Other Information:
My initial goal got derailed, ironically when I was just 20 pounds away. I let peer pressure and comfort food get in my way during a time when I couldn't exercise due to health problems. Worst time to eat fattening foods. Now I'm back, and diabetic so I have a whole new motivation to eat healthy.
