You Get What You Give...

I always tell my voice and piano students that you get out of lessons what you put in. If you work hard and practice a lot, you will make progress. It's time to practice what I preach, and stop (just) wishing that I was thinner and that I was in better shape. I'm going to work for it!

My Goals:
My short-term goal is to lose 18 pounds by July 2, 2014. Long-term goal is to form healthy habits (eating and exercise) so that I default to healthier choices instead of, well, unhealthy choices. Most of all, I want to be an example for my daughter. If I eat junk, how can I tell her not to?

Happily married for almost 9 years, mother of a brilliant and beautiful 8-year-old girl, living in Littleton, Colorado.

Other Information:
I love to read, sing, play piano, crochet, sew, cook/bake, and spend time in the mountains.
