I've been thinking about you and what you said and, as God would have it, your words echoed my Spark Coach challenge to change-up my strength training exercises. I have added a couple more exercises to my mix and am feeling great!
Every time I start weight-lifting (again) I gain two pounds. I know it it water retention, but I still hate it. This time (adding a couple) my weight seems to be staying the same. I know it will eventually go down, and meanwhile, it feels so good to do more!

I loved the note you wrote on my blog! THANK YOU for taking time to read it and write the note. It's encouraging to know there are others of the same ilk. Of course, we are all struggling with weight-loss; that's why we are here, but it seems so easy for some people! (NOT ME!)
I agree with you, negative self-talk does no good! I'm proud of you for determining not to beat yourself up over your gain. The important thing is that you are back and every choice is a new opportunity to get one step closer to your (our) goal(s). (I'm writing this to ME, too!)
You are going in the right direction now.
