    You are so right about the salty foods. They do cause me to retain water. I need to limit it for that reason. My doctor said, "No salt." But that is unrealistic. I was really working hard to keep it under 2300 mg. but the past couple days I ate out 3 times at restaurants and at homes where sodium is generously used in cooking. I will get a handle on this.

    Thanks for the comment on my blog about plateauing. You're probably right, I need to shake things up in the exercise category! It's such beautiful weather that I'm just not motivated to go to the gym (so a beach run sounds more appealing than being in a sweaty room) but maybe I can bring my 8lb dumbells to the beach, or do some bodyweight exercises to shake it up. Maybe even incorporate some sprints into my running! Although right now I am focusing on running slower for longer, so maybe not ... but I could do both on different days. Anyway, thanks again for the wise words and the food for thought!
