My Goals:
In 2007 I decided to lose weight, get fit, stop eating junk and regain control of my life.
...and so, for the first time in many years, I applied myself 100%. I had my moments of self doubt, I allowed myself to be bought down by negative comments but gradually I grew a thicker skin. I lost the weight, I got fitter, the junk food has gone and my life is gradually getting back on track. There's so many things I still want to achieve; they seem completely out of my reach but so did losing weight. I never thought I'd be exercising like a woman possessed but I am. I never thought I'd stop eating chocolate for lunch but I did so now I'm aiming high. I might fall on my face, I might get laughed at but one thing I will never do is look back on my life and think - I wish I tried - What if? - If only...


My Program:
I pay attention to what I eat. I do a lot of home cooking and this year grew a lot of my own vegetables.
I set myself a target of between 120-140mins of fitness a day - more if can.
I track everything to keep myself accountable.

Other Information:
I'm studying for a diploma in genealogy, love spending time in the garden, reading a good book, watch a film - I love horror, fantasy, supernatural... research my family tree, I have a fascination of Jack the Ripper, love cross-stitch, cooking, knitting, writing...I enjoy meeting friends for coffee or lunch and catching up with their lives, sharing wishes and hopes...

The pain of being overweight is FAR worse than pain of working out.
Losing weight and keeping it off has as much to with what we put into it as what we put into our mouth
Thanks for stopping its always fun visiting with friends .

Sorry you had a hard time gertting on spark.Missed you and wondered what happened to you. glad you are back . and i had a wonderful Easter going to church singing in choir A nice walk after finishing up getting things ready for dinner with my cousins . hope you had a good Easter as well .
