    Thanks for the comment on my photos. Well, mostly what I do is keep track of steps. I had a competition with another spark friend on who could lose the most in like 5 weeks. So, I started with doing 5000 steps a day in addition to logging my food EVERY day. Then the following week I upped my steps to 6000 a day. Each week I was losing 1 pound. And each week I kept upping my steps another 1000. I got up to 19000 a day then I got sick and had to stop. But once I got better (I did lose like 7 pounds being sick) I started my plan again. I have lost a total of 25 pounds. Plus, I am a runner so that is helping me keep it off now. Keep sparking!! You can do this!!!

    Hello again! Thanks for the spark goodie! As for me I am almost 24, and I have been overweight since I was a tiny tot (thanks dad for the burger king lol). I have only recently changed to eating a vegan diet in January of this year. But after trying to lose weight since I was in middle school I have found something that doesn't even seem like a diet to me. I feel like as long as you don't mind cooking a little bit, eating a vegan diet is a piece of (vegan)cake! (minus having to find those pesky alternatives if you want a specific animal product, like mozzarella cheese) however, they do have literally ANYTHING you can think of in a plant based form. Its not necessarily healthier in some ways (sodium, fat) but for me personally since it is a little more on the expensive side it keeps me to a minimum on those. I have started taking a multivitamin everyday, because I sometimes lack in the vitamin B12 & D department. But if you keep track here on spark its not too hard to adjust to get the appropriate nutrition. Also yes, I get plenty of protein (what people always ask). Just invest in a plant based protein powder, and eat your seeds, nuts, beans, and legumes! Just this morning I made a creamy spinach dip. 2.5 tbsp serving (not enough if you ask me but that's cause I could eat the whole bowl :P) and one tortilla i made into chips had a wopping 14g of protein in it with only 194 calories! That was just a small snack before I went running. I'm sorry for the book, but I feel like I've come across a miracle and wish the same for you!
