I don't seem to have a lot of time to carve out for exercise and diet, but I need to change that and this year I have set new goals. Since both of my boys are in school and work full time outside of thre home as an Administrative Assistant for alarge department store. I am primarily at a desk all day. 30% of my week is spent around the store doing heavy lifting, walking distances and some standing. Since I am in an office instead of the sales floor I am allowed to have candy on my desk or drink a soda through out the day. Not a good thing. Since I took this position 9 months ago I have gone from a size 8 to a size 14.

I was active on this site a couple of years ago, but stopped for reasons I can't remember. I am hoping to get back on track and start eating right and exercising more. I look forward to everyone's insight and support.

My Goals:
I would like to achieve a healthier lifestyle. I currently live off Coke. I would like to lose about 30 pounds

I have reached my first goal of kicking the caffeine habit. I do not drink soda anymore. It actually tastes horrible to me. I do still crave it, but when I go to drink it it is not what I remember and tastes gross. (7/10/08)

My Program:
I am starting off by by changing 1 bad habit and that is not exercising. I am attempting to do a Couch to 5K program. Once I get exercise into my daily routine, then I will work on my eating habits. I am fortunate to have a treadmill and weight machine in my home so I do not have to trek to the gym when I want to workout. I would like to use the treadmill atleast 3 times a week with strength training 3 days a week.

Personal Information:
i live in Sun City, CA and have 2 boys 10and 6. I am also married to my college sweetheart and just celebrated our 13th anniversary this past December. I love to read. I work full time for a large department store as an Adminsitrative Assistant.

Other Information:
I am a HUGE One Tree Hill and Twilight Fan. I enjoy reading books by James Patterson, Jane Green, and Meg Cabot.
