I joined Sparkpeople because every time I diet I have trouble coordinating fitness and healthy eating habits with losing weight. I simply don't pay attention to the whole picture. This program will help me be all around healthy.

That was my goal in 2009. That went well until my father passed away in 2010, then I lost track and ate/drank whatever I wanted in 2011. I spent 2012 doing an easy 20 minute workout every morning thinking that was going to slim my body down. It did not. ...

I spent 2012 doing an easy 20 minute workout every morning thinking that was going to slim my body down. It did not. So in December I decided that since my metabolism is slower at age 47, I needed something tough to get back where my body should be. I started Insanity in January. Now at May 3, I am back in size 4 with no rolls coming over the jeans !

July 30, 2013. Started round 3 of Insanity. I'm healthier and stronger than I've ever been. I have visible abs. I still want to eat better.

August 20, 2013. Started trying to "eat clean" and getting ready to head into "month 2" again. Learning how to keep my calories in the range my body needs!

Tracking nutrition several times a day, drinking water and trying to find ways to get exercise into a very busy schedule. January 2013 started Insanity workout dvd.

Other Information:
Insanity is the best workout program I've ever done, I saw results at day 10 !

Thanks for your encouragement you left on my blog "It's Been Five Years." I have been doing "Insanity" for two weeks now and did better on my fit test and have already lost 4.6 lbs and 3.25". My next weigh-in / measurement day is this Friday (it is every Friday), so I expect to see good things again. I look forward to the final results which is why I am sticking with it!

Thanks for your comments and support on my blog! I have bad knees so I'm hoping that I can still make it through Insanity, I've never been so sore! I'm sure I'll see some changes, I'm just inpatient! ;) Hope you don't mind I've added you as a friend
